Load Bank Test
PalmLite is proud to provide confirmation of system integrity and ability to effectively support 100% of rated load in Normal Operation. We strongly recommend that this service be purchased and performed at time of Initial Start-Up and at any time the customer desires evidence of UPS ability to support 100% of rated load. Annual load tests ensure that the Power Generation system is operating at peak performance to support critical load in the event of a power failure.
Load Bank Test Includes:
- Avtron Millennium Load Bank and temporary cable connections to generator
- Load Bank capacity up to 800 kw at 600 volt & 470 kw at 120/208 volt
- Four hour full load test on the generator
- Measure and record every 15 minutes for the duration of the test; oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, alternator voltage, alternator amperage, power factor, generator frequency

- Provides peace of mind assures functionality and reliability of power generation system components under full load & a series of varying load steps
- Provides assurance that power generation system output will meet product specifications in all modes of operation
Important Points:
- It is suggested that a Load Bank Test be performed annually with scheduled service such as Start-Up or Preventative Maintenance
- Load Bank Test Service report will be provided to the customer upon completion of service
- NOTE: During the load bank test, the Power Generation system will not be available in the event of a utility failure to support critical load
